Here Are The Free Agents Of The NFL And the Predictions Of Where They Will Sign

Published on 01/08/2021

It’s going to be very interesting for the NFL Free Agency. Several quarterbacks hit the market, so we’re not sure what’s going to happen next. The NFL will have a huge impact on all these free agents and their decisions. We can’t help yet but wonder… What will happen? Let’s take a look at some predictions, shall we?

Derrick Henry

It may take him a few games to go, but the thunderous back of Alabama is a beast in its entirety. Tennessee’s entire offensive scheme depends on Henry hammering the ball. They can’t just let him go of it. Kansas City and Detroit look like potential fits, but the Titans will most likely pay Henry an excellent price for the next few seasons. (Prediction: Tennessee Titans)

Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry

Dante Fowler

Fowler is the best pass in LA in the current season. Much money from the Rams, however, is tied up with its other members. Also, LA is facing the challenge of bringing DT Michael Brockers into the team. Arizona’s rival for the division has a lot of money and will add a rusher edge to Chandler Jones’s work. (Prediction: Arizona Cardinals)

Dante Fowler

Dante Fowler

Chris Jones

In almost every game, one of the NFL’s most versatile defensive players, Chris Jones, commands double teams. He flashed elite speed as a proper defensive end after opposing quarterbacks. He will be in a rather hefty contract due to his age and position. As a free agent, Kansas City is resolved not to permit him. (Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs)

Chris Jones

Chris Jones

Marcus Peters

Marcus Peters, who was regarded as a talented yet unpredictable player, was sent to Baltimore Ravens to pick the Rams for the fifth round when the antics were enough. Peters has returned to the Pro Bowl form since it became a part of the Ravens. He has nabbed three interceptions with his new team since week 14 in just six games. If Baltimore continues to get Marcus Peters’ best version, he will probably not go anywhere. (Prediction: Baltimore Ravens)

Marcus Peters

Marcus Peters

Michael Brockers

Brockers has proven that he is a solid NFL player since he was pulled out of LSU. While he may not be the man who pops off the screen, he is quite reliable as a defensive start. The Rams have a lot of cash attached to a few players. It is unlikely that Brockers will return with the Rams trying to re-sign both Cooper Kupp and Jalen Ramsey. (Prediction: Denver Broncos)

Michael Brockers

Michael Brockers

Shaq Thompson

To complete the off-season, Oakland will only have two linebackers under contract. For Carolina, Thompson has become a really nice player. He was a college safety and had the athleticism and versatility to cover smaller backfield players. Aside from that, he is great in run support. For one year before the team goes to Las Vegas, Thompson will represent the Bay Area (Sacramento), from where he’s from. (Prediction: Oakland Raiders)

Shaq Thompson

Shaq Thompson

Byron Jones

Rumblings suggest that Dallas does not offer an extension to Jones. Houston lost Kareem Jackson to Denver the last offseason. Moreover, current starters Bradley Roby and Johnathan Joseph will be freely available after the current season. Thus, Houston will do everything it can to sign the player many in the free-agent group perceive to be the best defensive back. (Prediction: Houston Texans)

Byron Jones

Byron Jones

Melvin Gordon

After Melvin Gordon held out for a contract extension, which never came, he didn’t really look good. Though that doesn’t mean that it’s impossible to get back to Pro Bowl, the Chargers seem satisfied with the cheaper option, Austin Ekeler. Gordon can do well to catch passes out of the backfield, and with the Chiefs needing a lead running back, it seems that Kansas City is a perfect fit for this potential marriage. (Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs)

Melvin Gordon

Melvin Gordon

Vonn Bell

It’s the best year of Bell’s young career to date. On the back end, he has been a ball hawk and has been excellent in run support. Finally, it appears as though the light is turning on for Bell, a former first-round pick. Bell is an upside, so he can definitely do a handful of things, although he’s not yet made a pro bowl. His contract is one for his watch. But New Orleans could consider him too overpriced for them. (Prediction: Arizona Cardinals)

Vonn Bell

Vonn Bell

Bud Dupree

Since Week 14, Dupree has taken 8.5 sacks, a career-high for the first-round pick. He is a core member of the suddenly emerging defense of Pittsburgh. Along with Devin Bush, T.J. Watt, and Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Steelers have created an excellent core of guys in their 20’s. Pittsburgh is likely to re-sign Dupree for a very lucrative agreement to keep the group together. (Prediction: Pittsburgh Steelers)

Bud Dupree

Bud Dupree

Drew Brees

We really can’t see Brees joining any other franchise. He’s lost his fastball a little bit, but Brees keeps playing at a relatively high level. What’s more, he is a beloved member of the community and the franchise. He’s likely to be back on a short deal, hoping for a Super Bowl trophy from New Orleans over the next few years. (Prediction: New Orleans Saints)

Drew Brees

Drew Brees

Yannick Ngakoue

Some of what Nick Foles paid first must be unloaded by Jacksonville, or Ngakoue will be out of their price range. One of this class’s crown jewels is the stud defensive end. The Jags want him back, but the Colts want to pick him up, too. At the defensive end, they have a humongous need and plenty of cap space. (Prediction: Indianapolis Colts)

Yannick Ngakoue

Yannick Ngakoue

Brandon Scherff

This two-time Pro Bowler is only 28 years old when he hits the market. Washington might benefit from re-signing it, but the franchise was not known for good decision-making. It’s easy to see that this could be a fight between the Tennessee and New York Jets. The latter has found it hard to protect its quarterbacks and is dead lasting when it comes to sacks relinquished. (Prediction: Tennessee Titans)

Brandon Scherff

Brandon Scherff

Jadeveon Clowney

Seattle traded for Clowney, and it has proved the team’s best rusher pass. There are times when he dominates the field. Seattle would definitely not let Clowney go this season, having given him a considerable capital draft. Seattle will have to shell out a costly contract, but it’s worth it. (Prediction: Seattle Seahawks)

Jadeveon Clowney

Jadeveon Clowney

A.J. Green

It’s time for AJ Green to be a contender. He was practically an afterthought, and in Cincinnati, he dwindled. Green appears to be ideal for New England, considering how old he is (31), his history of injury, and his drive to play for an opponent. Those legs still have juice, and it would seem to the Patriots that rejuvenated actors who have well gone beyond their peak form. (Prediction: New England Patriots)

A.J. Green

A.J. Green

Amari Cooper

A series of nicks and injuries have constantly hindered TY Hilton, and he is definitely not the same player he used to be. Jacoby Brissett would really love to have a real No. 1 receiver, and the skill set of Cooper would be outstanding on turf. The offense of Indy would benefit directly from the balance of Cooper. (Prediction: Indianapolis Colts)

Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper

Anthony Castonzo

Miami needs talent everywhere, particularly a top player who can make the locker room stronger on the field and in culture. The offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo will be an athletic and well-proven player in the offensive line. While the Colts would really like to re-sign him, there could be a problem regarding cap space. (Prediction: Miami Dolphins)

Anthony Castonzo

Anthony Castonzo

Jameis Winston

A few years ago, Winston could be expected to resume work with the team that drafted him No.1. Winston can throw two elite receivers and get to work with Bruce Arians, a famous offensive guru. Winston is supposed to be equipped with enough ground game by Tampa Bay. (Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston

Hunter Henry

Henry has suffered several injuries from entering the NFL even though he was clearly talented. His potential income could have a negative impact due to his health deficiency. New England still searches for its replacement for Rob Gronkowski and will definitely get a player with Henry’s caliber on a discount. Henry would be completely fatal in the offense of Josh McDaniels. (Prediction: New England Patriots)

Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry

Austin Hooper

When it comes to Austin Hooper, there will be a bidding war. Everyone needs tights to finish: Bears, Packers, Jets, Titans, Panthers, Bills, and Patriots. Hooper has become one of the most successful league players based on the stuck hands and blocking ability. Probably in Atlanta, he will re-sign, but will not be surprised if he goes somewhere else. (Prediction: Atlanta Falcons)

Austin Hooper

Austin Hooper

Jarran Reed

Having earned less than $2 million last year, Reed is in line with his huge wage boost. In 2018, he had 10.5 sacks as a defensive tackle, and while he had fewer stellar numbers in 2019, he was still a great player against the race. Seattle plans to restructure its defense to make it an elite unit, so it cannot allow Reed to go anywhere. (Prediction: Seattle Seahawks)

Jarran Reed

Jarran Reed

Philip Rivers

Rivers has a career full of personal achievements, the best quarterback who never played in a Super Bowl. It is also obvious, however, that he is not the player he was once. In addition to causing an alarming turnover, Rivers simply does not have enough zip to properly push the ball down. He and his family have strong roots in San Diego too, and the 38-year-old will probably pick up his cleat and retire to his beautiful residence in Southern California. (Prediction: Retires)

Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers

Teddy Bridgewater

If Philip Rivers retires, Los Angeles will be an open spot. Teddy Two Gloves isn’t the player’s most flashing option, but it is a legitimate center option. He has the capacity to move the ball efficiently and seldom causes sales. If LA chooses a quarterback, Bridgewater would be a good stopping gap in the meantime. (Prediction: Los Angeles Chargers)

Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater

Shaquil Barrett

Barrett’s way comes with a massive payday. He is the NFL leader in sacks on the 5th of December (14.5). Pass-rushing traits have become a major premium in the game today, so the 27-year-old will not have a shortage of suitors. If the rival Atlanta Falcons attempts to woo Barrett, it should not be surprising. Atlanta needs passing brilliance desperately, and all season, the Barrett show was before them. (Prediction: Atlanta Falcons)

Shaquil Barrett

Shaquil Barrett

Marcus Mariota

Soon, Mariota will bid goodbye to Tennessee. It does not seem that the former Oregon star is material of the first choice as a quarterback inaugural in the free agency period. Pete Carroll, who really wants to make Mariota the best football player, will happily scoop up his pick. For Mariota, the west coast isn’t too far. (Prediction: Seattle Seahawks)

Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota

Trae Waynes

The Panthers division includes Calvin Ridley, Julio Jones, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Michael Thomas. There can never be too many quality corners in the team for this reason. Former first-round pick Trae Waynes could be sent to Carolina at a good discount based on the market and other players. (Prediction: Carolina Panthers)

Trae Waynes

Trae Waynes

Joe Schobert

Mike Mayock is a big fan of tough and hard-nosed players, and his draft track record shows that he is aimed at players from bigger schools and competitive. Schobert, a former Wisconsin product, fits the bill quite well and is an arsonist who rarely gets out of position. He helps to set the tone for defense in dire need of consistency. (Prediction: Oakland Raiders)

Joe Schobert

Joe Schobert

Chris Harris, Jr.

For the Patriots, Harris Jr. can be very valuable. He has a pedigree championship, lots of experience, and is super competitive. Harris Jr. can now be signed on a discount that is perfect for Bill Belichick in his career. (Prediction: New England Patriots)

Chris Harris Jr.

Chris Harris, Jr.

Dak Prescott

Dallas will certainly not let Dak go – the same person who brought together a fractured locker room. He is excellent inside the community and improves on the field, not to mention he has full respect for everyone in the organization. There could be negotiations about the amount of money guaranteed, but Prescott probably won’t go anywhere. (Prediction: Dallas Cowboys)

Dak Prescott

Dak Prescott

Tom Brady

The off-season shocker is Tom Brady’s rumored split with Bill Belichick. We all know Brady won’t join a team that’s unprepared to go to the Super Bowl and could go to the West Coast. After all, he’s originally from there (San Francisco) and lives off-season (Los Angeles). He’s a Bay Area native, so joining the 49er makes sense—especially when SF won’t reach this year’s Super Bowl. If Brady is interested, John Lynch won’t hesitate to follow the star player driven by a strong defense and running game. (Prediction: San Francisco 49ers)

Tom Brady

Tom Brady

Josh Norman

Josh Norman was released by the Washington Redskins in front of the free agency and saved $12.5 million from his $75 million contracts, but the left teams are well aware that they can pick them out. The Buffalo Bills will certainly have him on the top of their list, and we think he will do it.

Josh Norman

Josh Norman

Le’Veon Bell

A divide between Bell and the Pittsburgh Steelers is sure to increase, as Bell is surely afraid of some wear and tear. Some other teams are certainly not afraid of this costly player; however, our money is on Detroit; if they want the playoffs to be made and eventually the big win, Bell is their best choice.

Le'Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell

Aaron Donald

The Rams have shown their willingness to spend on Donald and do what they need instead of signing major depth players or starters. The team looks forward to spending more money to keep players like Todd Gurley and Jared Goff, but Donald is just as significant and the most valuable, so we expect him to be better than anyone else.

Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald

Tyrann Mathieu

After all of us were shocked by his choice of Houston Texans, we know that Mathieu values his team as a whole and it’s potential overall. We think that he can move, possibly for the Bills, but a proven deal in New England is on his card if it doesn’t work.

Tyrann Mathieu

Tyrann Mathieu

Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham is a strong player, working extremely well under Pat Shurmur. He will certainly be interested in a few teams, but he must remain with the Giants after his injury if he wants to win a title, and they’ll be lucky to have him.

Odell Beckham Jr

Odell Beckham Jr.

Khalil Mack

Mack is looking for a well-deserved new contract and is confident that his team’s alpha will certainly change with a new coach coming in. We believe that Mack could leave Oklahoma for the New York Jets, that the Jets would have a ton of cap space, and that he might be willing to put the franchise on his face. The Raiders are best prepared to fight, or should we say, bid it out.

Khalil Mack

Khalil Mack

DeMarcus Lawrence

DeMarcus Lawrence thrived as a rusher edge; his day of pay is coming and coming known. Oakland is best chosen and fit because some spaces are open because of the players we expect to leave if this is an opportunity and the raiders can go far.

DeMarcus Lawrence

DeMarcus Lawrence

Randall Cobb

Cobb has been a little inconsistent with the Packers today, and unless they make the Super Bowl, things are predicted to shake. If Cobb ends up part of the changes, we anticipate that Tennessee is the first to sign him. Tennessee has space at a wide receiver, and it makes logistical sense to make this move.

Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb

Taylor Lewan

In free agency heavy paychecks, offensive linemen rake, and we suspect Lewan is next in line. The Titans will most likely let him walk-free with a range of linesmen options, but the Bills need a tackle and the money to sign Lewan. Therefore, we believe Lewan will go to Buffalo unless his arm gets better.

Taylor Lewan

Taylor Lewan

Zack Martin

As his team is very well aware of his worth and other teams, the Cowboys know that Ezekiel Elliot will lead them and thus, keeping Martin around is worth the money for them. All-pro guard Zack Martin is looking to maintain the cash dollar. Dallas needs his impact, and so we predict that they will keep him on.

Zack Martin

Zack Martin

Earl Thomas

The Cowboys were reported to have made an offer to trade for Thomas, but terms could not be met, and it looks like he will soon leave Seattle. Dallas is our best bet, but we assume it will be on some kind of incentive deal. This purchase is on the cards, with Dallas specifically liking to have an all-pro safety.

Earl Thomas

Earl Thomas

Brian Orakpo

This fatal pass-rusher is 32 years old and has shown that he can stay healthy with the Titans during the last three seasons. His options are open, but the most likely choice is that the Cowboys will sign him as an all-American Houston original.

Brian Orakpo

Brian Orakpo

Danielle Hunter

The Vikings are willing to spend a lot on retaining the players they need, and as Hunter is young, they are sure to give up his game and assets. Minnesota knows they’re supposed to make this move, and we see it happening.

Danielle Hunter

Danielle Hunter

Tyrod Taylor

He is the next highest quarterback on the market of free agents. In the last three seasons, Buffalo is capable and productive, and we believe he is heading for Cleaveland. The best choice and works as if signing him to play for the Jaguars is to replace Blake Bortles, a wise decision.

Tyrod Taylor

Tyrod Taylor

Ezekiel Ansah

This player has been considered a little inconsistent, but it will certainly be in demand when back on the market. It is believed that he will most likely make a move from Lions to Arizona, which makes full sense because Ansah is capable of needing an edge rusher that will change the game for them. However, it is predicted that it won’t be a long-term deal.

Ezekiel Ansah

Ezekiel Ansah

Anthony Harris

Anthony Harris is another safety that many people don’t know about. After his impressive 2019 season, he could get a very nice deal. When he was asked to play for Minnesota Vikings DB, he had six picks and did a good job in the middle.

Anthony Harris

Anthony Harris

Cory Littleton

Cory Littleton was playing for Los Angeles Rams ILB after his best season. He’s only 26 years old, and his best football has yet to come. He’s an active and athletic linebacker with a bright future for now.

Cory Littleton

Cory Littleton

Justin Simmons

While many fans may not recognize his name, Justin Simmons certainly caught the NFL personnel’s eye. He’s young, athletic, and a ball hawk. He’s young. There’s a lot of value here. He played the Denver Broncos FS for the last time.

Justin Simmons

Justin Simmons

Arik Armstead

Arik Armstead was on the right track for his best season in 2019. It is unlikely that the 49ers will be able to keep him longer. In the future, he’ll definitely get some mega-deal from the team.

Arik Armstead

Arik Armstead

Ryan Tannehill

He brought his career back to life with the Tennessee Titans, leaving the bench and leading them into the playoffs. He’s most likely going to get some sort of tag, but what’s his true value right now?
